IF YOU CAN READ THIS WITHOUT A TEAR, YOU ARE STRONGER THAN I
Morgan bleeds red, white and blue. He studies American history like a doctoral student. He visits old battlefield sites to connect with the past.

When Morgan found out Dustin and loved ones of other colleagues were fighting abroad, he took down names.

Spending hundreds of dollars out of his own pocket, he and his wife put together care packages and shipped them off.

Morgan didn't personally know Dustin or many of the other recipients. Not that it mattered. He wanted these people to know they had not been forgotten, that folks at home cared. Like Dustin's decision to enlist, Morgan said it was just something he had to do.

The package touched Dustin's heart. Already a sensitive young man, mature way beyond his years, Dustin was so moved he hand-wrote a letter from Iraq to the man he formally addressed as "Mr. Morgan":

...And it seems like without even being here, you, my mother, and many others have discovered the perfect antidote for a staggering heart. For this I am more grateful than you could possibly imagine ... thank you for your undying support, compassion and patriotism.

Please read the entire story here.

Its all about folks following their hearts.
