TOTAL BS

The question so frequently put to the Democrat presidential candidates is disingenuous, Monday morning quarterbacking at its very worst.

How many times have we heard that "shouldas, wouldas and couldas" aren't worth the oxygen required to utter them? But here we are, six months after, and the media toss these softball questions gently over the plate.

There is no accountability in a statement that begins "I would have..." hence it becomes an exercise in posturing, preening, and making one look the best they can against a backdrop they use to their own purposes.

As for me...well, I would have been six foot five with a steely eye, a square jaw and abs of steel. No, honestly, I would have...
Senator John F. Kerry, questioned repeatedly last night about his position on the Iraq war, said he would have continued diplomatic negotiations into fall 2003 and even beyond to avoid the fighting last spring.
