REPORTER KILLED NEAR ABU GHYRIAB PRISON
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Coalition forces engaged an individual in the vicinity of the Abu Ghyriab prison Aug 17. The individual was later identified as a reporter.
The individual was evacuated to the 28th Combat Support Hospital and was
pronounced dead on arrival.
The individual's name and organization are being withheld pending the
notification of next of kin.
The incident is currently under investigation.
