FRIDAY, May 28th.

Day 383 (one year, 17 days) since my darling wife left for Baghdad.

Sorry to be absent today...my real life is interfering with my on-line life. And, frankly, that is a good thing. If that means I won't read 130 negative news stories for every positive news story about Iraq today, well, that might just do my soul some good.

I'll be here when I can.
